Speech Language Pathologist (PRN)

Facility: Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Boynton Beach, Florida Schedule: PRN Pay Rate: $59 per hour Join Our Team! Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will help residents regain and strengthen their communication and swallowing abilities, improving their independence and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech, language, and swallowing therapy programs Provide therapy sessions and adjust treatment plans based on resident progress and needs Assess and recommend adaptive communication devices when appropriate Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to coordinate comprehensive care plans Supervise therapy assistants and provide guidance or training as neededParticipate in resident care conferences and maintain accurate documentation of progress and outcomes Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Florida Speech Language Pathologist license (or eligibility for licensure) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligible Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Passion for delivering compassionate, resident-centered care Why Join Heartland?
