The physical therapist will provide professional orthopedic care for clinic patients and perform clinical tasks such as manual therapy, modalities and proper documentation on all patients.MINIMUM ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTSEvaluate and treat patients and complete appropriate documentation in a timely fashionSupervise techniciansDevelop protocols and patient education materialsAssist supervisor in daily operational duties as neededMaintain all continuing education requirementsParticipate in and help foster an environment of continued learning in our pursuit of clinical excellenceCommunicate appropriately with physicians and their staff on patient care issuesParticipate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliationsMaintain patient confidentiality; comply with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practiceMaintain detailed knowledge of practice management and other computer software as it relates to job functionsMaintain Physical Therapist licensure in the state of TennesseeAttend CPR, OSHA, and CLIA training programsAttend all regular meetingsPerform all other tasks and projects assigned by the Manager or physiciansKNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university requiredExtensive training in orthopedic care preferredManual Therapy skills preferredManagement experience preferredPhysical Therapist must be licensed in the state of TennesseeMinimum of two years of experience in a physician office or orthopedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means)Ability to manage multiple patients and administer appropriate modalitiesExtensive knowledge in exercise physiology, bio mechanics, and exercise prescription (work towards Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association or Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine is preferred)Working knowledge of manual therapy techniquesWorking knowledge of billing issues, CPT codes, and basic knowledge ofInsurance related issuesComfortable effectively using MS Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS OutlookAbility to work with Practice Management softwarePleasant speaking voice and demeanorGood communication skills and the ability to perform patient education dutiesNeat and professional appearanceWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class. #J-18808-Ljbffr
