Duties

• Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach and networking events
• Conduct thorough analysis of clients’ insurance needs to recommend appropriate coverage options
• Negotiate policy terms and premiums to secure mutually beneficial agreements
• Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating records, and maintaining client files
• Utilize marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details, and assisting with claims processes
• Promote a comprehensive understanding of insurance products while adhering to privacy regulations like HIPAA when applicable

Skills

• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a focus on customer engagement
• Strong negotiation abilities to close deals effectively and foster long-term relationships
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly valued
• Solid analysis skills for assessing client needs and tailoring insurance solutions accordingly
• Familiarity with sales administration tools and CRM systems for efficient record keeping
• Knowledge of marketing principles to develop outreach campaigns and increase client base
• Ability to navigate benefits administration processes and provide clear guidance on policy options
