Procurement Manager

Job Summary: Responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies supporting capital investments across chemical manufacturing facilities, including plant expansions, reliability and maintenance (R&M), HIPD, environmental compliance, and regulatory projects.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Lead procurement activities from FEL-1 through project closeout.
2. Develop sourcing and contracting strategies.
3. Manage bidding and negotiation for process equipment, tanks, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, instrumentation, electrical equipment, EPC/EPCM services, and construction contracts.
4. Support plant expansions, debottlenecking, and growth projects.
5. Manage procurement for reliability, maintenance, turnaround, and asset integrity projects.
6. Support HIPD and technology deployment initiatives.
7. Lead compliance and regulatory project procurement.
8. Develop supplier relationships and performance programs.
9. Deliver cost savings, value engineering, and risk mitigation.
10. Coordinate procurement reporting, forecasting, and project controls.

Ideal Background:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Experience: This requires a minimum 8 years of relevant industrial experience in Supply Chain Management specifically in Project Procurement

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• MBA preferred.
• CPSM, CPSD, PMP, or similar certification.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM contracting.
• Experience supporting capital portfolios exceeding $100MM annually.
• Core Competencies: Strategic Sourcing, Commercial Negotiation, Supplier Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Financial Acumen, Leadership, Communication, and Analytical Problem Solving.
• KPIs: Cost Savings, Schedule Adherence, Supplier On-Time Delivery, Contract Cycle Time, Commitment Accuracy, Change Order Reduction, Supplier Quality, Safety, and Stakeholder Satisfaction.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
