Locum - Physician - OB/GYN

**Coverage Dates:**

- August 13-17 - August 28-31 - September 4-8 - October 2-5 - October 16-19 - November 6-9 - December 4-7 - December 23-26 - January 2-4

**Position Overview:** - **Location:** ER/GYN and L&D on-call at the hospital

**Clinical 

Responsibilities:** - **Gynecology:** 40%-50% of case load; performing 1-4 gynecological surgeries per day - 

**Obstetrics:** 15%-35% of case load; involved in cesarean deliveries

- **Newborn Admissions:** Average of 2-5 admissions daily; daily census of 3-4 newborns

- **Pediatrics:** Census of 0-1 every 2 months

- **Nursery Capacity:** 12 beds designated for Normal Newborns; no Special Care Nursery available

- **EMR System:** EPIC

**Requirements:**

- **Clinical Skills:** Must be proficient in performing cesarean sections and all OB/GYN-related surgeries, including scheduled dilation and curettage (D&C).

- **Call Structure:** 24-hour call shift from 8 AM to 8 AM; includes callbacks but no in-house coverage required.

**Qualifications:**

- **Certification:** Board Certified (mandatory)

- **Licensure:** Must possess an active Ohio medical license (mandatory)

- **Certifications:** NRP and ACLS certification required

- **Vaccinations:** COVID vaccination preferred; flu vaccination mandatory

- **NPDB Query:** A self-query NPDB report is required at the time of presentation and must be dated within 30 days of that date.
