Job Description

Lead troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of industrial ammonia refrigeration and HVAC systems. Support system monitoring, audits, and documentation while performing and overseeing testing on compressors, condensers, evaporators, boilers, and plant utilities. Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and controls issues, and provide technical leadership and support to junior technicians. Maintain and modify piping, wiring, and system components, ensuring compliance with PSM, OSHA, EPA, and IIAR/RETA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of industrial ammonia refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Support system monitoring, audits, and documentation.
• Perform and oversee testing on compressors, condensers, evaporators, boilers, and plant utilities.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.
• Provide technical leadership and support to junior technicians.
• Maintain and modify piping, wiring, and system components.
• Ensure compliance with PSM, OSHA, EPA, and IIAR/RETA standards.

• 2+ years of relevant refrigeration technician experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of plant safety and GMPs.
• Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• LOTO/PIT/confined space certified.
• HAZMAT trained and a member of the HAZMAT team.
• Knowledge of IIAR, RETA, and PSM Guidelines.

• Commercial HVAC and industrial experience preferred.

The position is based in a manufacturing environment with working hours from 4pm to 4:30am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Troy, OH.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $93000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Troy,OH.
