CDL Driver (Class B)

Job Duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a straight truck with attached forklift to deliver building materials

• Safely navigate routes in various traffic and weather conditions

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance

• Load, unload, and secure materials properly to prevent damage

• Use forklift equipment for deliveries and job site handling

• Follow delivery schedules and maintain accurate documentation

• Provide professional and courteous service to customers at delivery sites

Minimum Education Required

No Education Requirement

Minimum Experience Required

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class B with air brake endorsement

• Minimum 5 years of CDL driving experience

• Building materials experience strongly preferred

• Forklift experience required (boom truck experience is a plus)

• Clean driving record (required)

• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly

• Basic computer skills

• Strong work history with proven longevity (no job hopping)
