Career growth and development Diverse and collaborative working environment Affordable and comprehensive benefits package Position Summary Under the supervision of a Clinical Manager, provides clinical consultation and backup administrative assistance for the program’s clinical staff. Also, provides individual therapy and case management and/or group education and therapy for a reduced caseload of patients with alcohol and other drug dependency problems. Competencies Education Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health or related discipline. Knowledge Comprehensive knowledge of individual, group and/or family therapeutic techniques sufficient to provide clinical consultation to therapists/counselors in a substance abuse treatment setting. Knowledge of general policies and procedures governing substance abuse treatment programs. Skills Must have a high level of analytical ability necessary to gather, interpret and communicate data related to patient evaluations and ongoing treatment. Must have oral communication skills that allow effective clinical consultation to therapists/counselors. Must have interpersonal skills necessary to provide counseling and treatment to patients and to coordinate patient’s status. Licensure Required for Independent Psychotherapy Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSWC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Counselor- Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Certified Professional Counselor- Marriage and Family Therapist (CPC‑MFT), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), or Licensed Psychologist. Three to five years in substance abuse or related mental health treatment; experience in a clinical setting. Salary Range Minimum $32.40/hour - Maximum $53.48/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
