This 25-bed Critical Access Hospital operates as a Level IV Trauma Center, offering comprehensive emergency, acute care, surgical, and specialty services to the patient population served. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and the infrastructure necessary to support call-based general surgery coverage on an on-site basis. Clinical operations are structured to ensure quality surgical care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period.

The clinician will provide 24-hour general surgery call coverage on shifts structured from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM at a Level IV Trauma Center, serving adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Primary responsibilities include responding to emergency department consultations and performing bread-and-butter general surgery procedures, with the potential for emergent endoscopy as clinically indicated. Coverage is required for 6 - 10 shifts per month in an inpatient, on-site setting with no support staff available. Board certification in General Surgery is required for this assignment.
