Shift: 12-hour Rotating Shift Schedule
- Week 1: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Wednesday, Thursday
- Schedule repeats every 2 weeks
- Shifts rotate monthly between Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Job Summary
The Chemist will ensure products meet or exceed customer requirements for quality and food safety . This role involves monitoring quality assurance systems, supporting production operations, and applying scientific knowledge to maintain compliance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain quality assurance systems (calibration, testing, raw materials, methods, SOPs).
- Apply basic understanding of plant processes to support quality and food safety.
- Provide technical advice to production teams to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Minimize process variation, reduce waste, and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Contribute to training and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or Chemistry OR 4-5 years of relevant experience .
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as per rotating shift schedule.
- Must successfully complete background check and drug test .
