Our team is responsible for Industrial Engineering activities that analyze and improve processes, reduce costs, and drive decisions now and in the future.What You Will Be DoingAs the Industrial Engineer Stf, you will be leading Industrial Engineering activities that optimize processes and inform current and future decision-making. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Management, or a similar Engineering disciplineExperience in Industrial Engineering/Lean Six Sigma/Affordability, preferably in a manufacturing or production environmentProficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools, particularly ExcelMust be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and retain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to startingMust be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background investigation to obtain “employee possessor” approval (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employmentDesired Skills7+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years with a master’s degreeActive DoD Secret Clearance preferredProven expertise in flow analysis and industrial engineering: Ability to optimize material, product, and information flow using tools such as Lean Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, and discrete event simulation to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance overall system efficiencyExperience planning, launching, and ramping up production lines or manufacturing areasExperience supporting production line design, layout, and workflow optimizationExperience using production analytics and simulation tools (e.g. Tableau, Simio, Arena, etc.) or Excel to model, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processesExperience analyzing production data to identify issues and implement process improvementsStrong communication skills, including building and delivering presentations to Senior LeadershipWorking knowledge of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LM-MFC) production data systems (Windchill MPM-Link, Apriso, SAP)Leadership experience including developing teams and driving performancePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $ - $ At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
