Hilton Columbus Downtown is on the lookout for a Banquet Coordinator to join their team! This role offers a fantastic chance to be part of one of downtown's largest hotels. As a Banquet Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the front and back of house banquet teams with administrative tasks. This role is an hourly based position with the schedule of Monday - Friday from 10:00am-6:00pm What will I be doing? As our Banquets Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting the banquet management team as well as the culinary management team. As a Team Member your essential functions in this role include such things as: To organize, plan and prioritize your duties by developing plans and goals. Timely communication to internal clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person. Manage the BEO books for both banquet and culinary teams by completing Daily change logs, distros, and weekly Batch. Assist in managing the culinary teams BEO walls Creating food labels for events. Consulting with the culinary team, when necessary, to update dietary items. Save in appropriate files, print, and distribute to appropriate events. Assist with creating Captain’s Reports Assist with entering banquet checks into POS Assist with entering banquet schedule into Unifocus Other duties as necessary based on business needs What are we looking for?
