JANITOR (PART TIME)

We are hiring immediately for a part-time JANITOR position. Location Hortonville High School – 246 North Olk Street, Hortonville, WI 54944. Openings at other locations within the school district are also available. Schedule Part-time schedule; Monday through Friday. Hours may vary. 2nd shift during the school year and 1st shift during summer break. Schedule details will be provided during the interview. Requirements Prior janitorial experience preferred. Dusts and damp mops floors according to approved procedures. Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and returns furniture to correct placement. Cleans assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment; sanitizes all surfaces; follows the eight-step cleaning procedure. Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for staff and visitors. Identifies areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete the task. Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor. Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines. Strips, scrubs, buffs, refines floors; shampoos carpet. Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others. Performs other duties as assigned.
