We hope you will join us in our mission and experience why amazing health starts with amazing healthcare.As a Full-Time Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Elko, NV. The scheduled hours are 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday with one weekend per month of Sat, Sun 8am-2pm. Unique opportunity!What You'll DoEnsures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.)Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within the scope of practiceDelivers evidence-based care to injured workers, accelerates return to work, and coordinates case management with the TPA and clientImplements and monitors transitional duty programs for injured workersPerforms and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practiceMaintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control proceduresMaintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date recordsEducates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up careCollaborates with healthcare professionals and resources, and company departments on health programs and injury preventionAssists with accident investigations, return-to-work programs, and workplace safety initiativesPerforms other duties as assignedWhat You'll BringCertificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferredCurrently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice requiredCertification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sitesCurrent certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of servicesAt least three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinicExperience in strategies to promote and maintain healthy, safe, and productive workplaces, including: partners to identify/mitigate workplace hazards, health screenings/education, fitness for duty, and return to work examsWork-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
