As a Structural Project Engineer, you'll work on diverse building projects, collaborate with talented engineers and BIM designers, and grow your technical expertise – all while contributing to a team that values innovation, mentorship, and work/life balance.What You'll Do:As a Structural Project Engineer, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and construction support of building projects, including:Perform structural design of assigned tasks under the supervision of the Project ManagerCollaborate with BIM Designers to produce structural construction documents and draft details in REVITAssist Project Managers with construction support, including shop drawing review and responding to RFIsEnsure accuracy and attention to detail in all construction documentsProgressively grow your technical knowledge through internal project experience and continuing educationDevelop and maintain client relationshipsWhat You Bring:To succeed as a Structural Project Engineer, you should bring the following skills and experiences:0–2 years of structural engineering experience related to building designAbility to manage your time and juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyDesire to provide excellent service and build strong client relationshipsPositive attitude, willingness to learn, and effective communication skillsState-issued Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificateStructural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university (Master's preferred)Working knowledge and project experience using steel, concrete, and wood design materials (preferred)Experience designing gravity framing and wind-resisting systems (preferred)Basic knowledge of design/build codes such as AISC, ACI 318, IBC, ASCE 7 (preferred)Working knowledge of structural analysis software such as RISA 3D, RAM, ETABS, Enercalc, or similar (preferred)Why DCI EngineersAt DCI Engineers, you'll find more than just a job – you'll join a team that values collaboration, innovation, and a lifestyle you crave.
