Job Description Under the direction of the Revenue Verification Manager, the incumbent is responsible for verifying accuracy of figures, calculations and postings pertaining to business transactions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conducting financial audits and documenting and reporting findings. Assisting in the preparation of operating reports based on figures obtained from within assigned revenue centers and other accounting areas. Interacting and assisting with regulatory agencies, auditors and management as assigned. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be detail-oriented with strong mathematical skills and have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Must possess ability to read and interpret financial documents and demonstrate problem‑solving ability. Must understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures and complete standard Seminole Tribe of Florida forms and reports. Must work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays. Work Environment Employee frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell; and lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment characteristics described are representative of those encountered while performing essential functions. Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to second‑hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. Must communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities. Closing The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American tribes who meet the job requirements. Required As part of Seminole Gaming’s employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended.
