Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop detailed project plans using project management software, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets by tracking costs with a construction management software or comparable cost management tools; oversee procurement processes and contract negotiations.
• Supervise construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to interpret blueprints and construction plans accurately.
• Monitor project progress through regular site visits, progress reports, and schedule updates; adjust plans proactively to address delays or issues.
• Lead project meetings to coordinate teams effectively, resolve conflicts swiftly, and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders.
• Ensure all construction activities meet regulatory requirements and adhere to local, state, and federal codes.
• Utilize construction management software for document control, change order processing, and project documentation.
• Oversee quality control inspections and ensure that work meets specified standards before approval.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles.
• Proficiency Bluebeam, ProCore, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook),
• Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and project coordination best practices.
• Hands-on experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret complex construction plans.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams within a fast-paced environment; excellent time management skills are essential.
• Strong understanding of contracts, cost management strategies, and project budgeting processes.
• Familiarity with managing complex infrastructure projects involving multiple stakeholders is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration among diverse teams; problem-solving mindset with proactive decision-making abilities.
