Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Pay: $33.25/hour

A leading distribution and logistics facility is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and automated material handling systems. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering long-term career potential in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime
• Complete inspections, maintenance records, and work orders
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all safety procedures
• Work with operations teams to improve equipment reliability
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or fulfillment environments
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment
• Knowledge of conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in an industrial setting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

The pay range for this position is $35.50 - $35.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
