Benefits and pay Starting salary of $36.75 per hour Additional shift differential pay of $2.50 per hour Stable hours for your financial stability Tool allowance reimbursement up to $1,000 Boot allowance worth an additional $350 Hours and location Monday – Friday Second Shift 4:30 pm to 2:00 am Every other Saturday and some overtime Repair / maintenance shop at our El Cajon, CA site What you’ll do Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns Safety checks on vehicles to protect employees and the community Complete required paperwork, document parts usage, and repair times Assist senior Mechanics in project work Review or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards Qualifications 2 years of relevant work experience Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Be over 18 years of age Legally eligible to work in the United States Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical Desired attributes Team players who care about everyone in the shop Happy working independently and as part of a team Likes variety – every day provides a new challenge Determined problem solvers Work environment and physical demands Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
