Resident Transporter/Van Driver

The Margaret E. Moul Home is seeking a reliable and professional Resident Transporter/Van Driver to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of residents to appointments within our community. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vans and transport residents within designated routes and schedules
• Assist residents with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents
• Communicate effectively with team members and residents to coordinate transportation needs
• Report any vehicle issues or safety concerns promptly to management

Schedule

First Shift: 7:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m.

Flexibility is required to accommodate resident medical appointments and transportation schedules.

Sign On Bonus: $5,000

Required Qualifications:

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and assist residents throughout the workday.

Frequently lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.

Safely assist residents using wheelchairs and other mobility equipment.

Occasionally kneel, squat, reach, twist, crawl, or climb.
