Position Title Adult Primary Care Physician – Atrius Health (Optum) Role Overview As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will provide adult primary care within a team-based model. You will coordinate inpatient and outpatient care with hospital partners, community specialists, and skilled nursing facilities to deliver high-quality, evidence-based medicine to a diverse population. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care across the continuum, emphasizing value-based care. Collaborate with behavioral health and specialty providers integrated into the primary care team. Use OptumCare’s award-winning EMR system and Smart RX to efficiently manage medications and clinical documentation. Engage in e-Consults and mobile integrated health to deliver care at patients’ homes when needed. Compensation and Benefits Target cash compensation: $238,500 – $392,500 annually (base and variable mix). Sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified external candidates. Company‑paid malpractice insurance and tail coverage. Robust retirement package with employer‑funded contributions. Dedicated CME time and allowance. Required Qualifications BC/BE or ABMS or AOA in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics. Unlimited licensure in Massachusetts or ability to obtain prior to start. Active MCSR & DEA or ability to obtain prior to start. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to start. Preferred Qualifications Clinical experience in an outpatient primary care setting.
