Senior Endoscopy Technician
Location: Mission Hills, CA
Duration - 13 Weeks
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Senior Endoscopy Technician to join a busy outpatient endoscopy center. The ideal candidate will have extensive GI/endoscopy experience, strong scope reprocessing skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff in a high-volume procedural environment.
Assignment Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- No weekends
- No holidays
- No on-call requirements
- No floating to sister facilities
- Local candidates accepted
- Facility may cancel up to one shift per pay period
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of Endoscopy Technician experience
- BLS Certification
- One of the following:
- SGNA Education/Certification for GI/Endoscopy
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with Endoscopy experience
- Experience working in an Endoscopy Center or GI Lab
Required Clinical Experience:
- Upper Endoscopy (EGD)
- Colonoscopy
- Polypectomy
- Biopsy Procedures
- PEG Placement
- Banding Procedures
- Balloon Dilation
- Bravo Procedures
- Endoscopic Procedural Assistance
- High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and Scope Reprocessing
Required Equipment Experience:
- Colonoscopes
- EGD Scopes
- EBUS Scopes
- EUS Scopes
- Enteroscopes
- ERCP Scopes
- Fiber Optic Endoscopes
- Flexible Sigmoidoscopes
