Medical Writer for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply your medical expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through original, high-quality professional documentation. This remote contract role focuses on contributing authentic medical materials that help AI models learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide original medical documents that you personally authored, such as PDFs or Word files.
• Submit materials that demonstrate depth and authenticity in medical writing, including case reports, clinical documentation, research manuscripts, and internal training guides.
• Include multimodal content where available, such as text, tables, charts, diagrams, figures, and other illustrative elements.
• Use professional judgment to protect confidentiality and rigorously remove sensitive or personal information from all submitted materials.
• Curate documents of varying lengths, ideally 10 to 100 pages per file, to support a range of training scenarios.
• Provide clear written context or clarification about shared materials when needed.
• Collaborate remotely as a contributor to an AI training project.

Qualifications

• Strong medical writing and documentation skills, medical depth, and sound confidentiality and de-identification judgment.
• Advanced training or credentials in medicine, healthcare, clinical research, or a closely related field, such as MD, DO, PhD, or RN.
• Extensive experience creating, authoring, or compiling high-quality medical documentation and technical reports.
• Strong understanding of patient confidentiality, ethical documentation practices, and data de-identification.
• Ability to communicate complex medical information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Experience creating multimodal documentation that integrates figures, visuals, and structured data.
• Comfort sharing a variety of original documents from your professional portfolio in PDF or Word format.
• Experience as a medical practitioner, researcher, academic, or clinical documentation specialist is a plus.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $20 to $40 per hour.
