Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) - 30 hrs/wk, 7a-7p

Job Summary Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) – Provide direct patient care to critically ill adult patients at the Alfond Center for Health, Augusta. 30hour per week day shift (7a.m.–7p.m.) with required weekend and holiday rotations. Responsibilities Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessment and nursing process. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the healthcare team. Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support as needed. Identify and address patient and family learning needs; provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel effectively. Precept student nurses and new hires as required. Qualifications Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain within a timely fashion. Minimum 1year of RN experience in an acute care setting. Prior or recent experience in a critical care unit preferred. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, MOAB preferred. Benefits Health, dental, and vision coverage.
