SHIPPING CLERK

Shipping Clerk Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping Clerk. The ideal candidate will assist the shipping manager in managing outgoing shipments and ensuring that all products are carefully packaged and shipped in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure that all shipping documents are accurately completed and filed properly.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries.
- Perform inventory checks to ensure that all products are accounted for and properly stored.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized shipping area.
- Provide support to the shipping team with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a shipping or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of basic computer software and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
