Vice President, Product Control

Overview A leading global financial services organization is seeking a Vice President, Product Control to support its U.S. Prime Finance business in New York. The role will oversee daily and monthly P&L, financial controls, balance sheet attestation, and analysis across a complex financing and securities services platform supporting institutional clients. This is a senior, highly visible role requiring close partnership with Trading, Treasury, Operations, Technology, Risk, Financial Reporting, Regulatory, and senior business management. The ideal candidate will bring extensive Product Control experience supporting Prime Finance, Prime Brokerage, Equity Finance, or a similarly complex markets business, with strong risk awareness and the ability to lead control and technology initiatives. Responsibilities Own daily and monthly P&L reporting and sign-off for the U.S. Prime Finance business. Review flash-to-actual results, reconciliations, manual adjustments, and balance sheet attestations. Partner with Trading, Treasury, Operations, Technology, Risk, Financial Reporting, and Regulatory teams to resolve issues. Analyze booking, valuation, and financial resource usage across complex products. Provide Funds Transfer Pricing and financial resource consumption analysis. Analyze balance sheet, leverage exposure, RWA, and NSFR drivers and variances. Present control issues, remediation plans, and risk matters to senior stakeholders. Serve as a primary Product Control contact for internal audit, external audit, and regulatory reviews. Partner with senior business leadership on revenue drivers, margin trends, financing spreads, and balance sheet usage. Support new products and business initiatives by assessing P&L, valuation, booking, and financial resource implications. Lead Product Control change and technology initiatives. Partner with Technology teams to drive automation, standardization, and scalable processes.
