Registered Nurse - Nights Med/Surg Telemetry

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Telemetry unit for night shifts. This position offers a dynamic work environment focused on patient care and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Float to other units as needed and take charge when required.
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling according to unit needs.

Schedule

This position requires 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Candidates must commit to at least one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Holiday work is also required as per contract.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an acute med/surg/telemetry setting.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license and AHA BLS certification are mandatory.
• Preferred: 2 years recent experience in acute med/surg/telemetry.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
