Senior Accountant / Accountant (CPA Preferred) Location: Secaucus, NJ (100% Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Overview Seeking a hands-on accounting professional to manage full-cycle accounting, prepare financial statements and annual reports, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong general ledger knowledge and the ability to independently handle daily accounting operations. A CPA license is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities Manage daily AP, AR, and general ledger activities. Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Support month-end and year-end closing. Prepare annual financial statements, financial reports, and supporting schedules. Handle inventory accounting and COGS analysis. Assist with audits, tax reporting, and Form 1099. Maintain accurate records in compliance with U.S. GAAP. Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Hands-on full-cycle accounting experience. Experience preparing financial statements and year-end reports. Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software or ERP systems. NetSuite experience and CPA certification are preferred. Ability to work independently in a 100% onsite role in Secaucus, NJ. This is an individual-contributor role with no team management responsibilities.
