Customer Service / Order Processing Agent at an International Freight Forwarding Company

• Direct Hire
• $20-22/hr.
• Compton, CA

 

Requirements of the Customer Service / Order Processing Agent :

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Basic understanding of logistics, shipping, and supply chain processes (preferred but not mandatory; training provided)
• At least 1 year of office experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams
• A customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and courteously
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Spanish bilingual skill is a big plus, but not required

 

Responsibilities of the Customer Service / Order Processing Agent:

• Handle questions related to shipment status, delivery timelines, and inventory availability
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and clients to schedule and track freight movements
• Enter and update shipment orders, invoices, and inventory records in logistics systems
• Assist in tracking warehouse inventory levels, reconciling discrepancies, and reporting stock status
• Keep accurate logs of shipments, returns, and customer communications
• Ensure smooth communication between customer service and warehouse teams for order fulfillment
• Other related duties will be assigned

 

 

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 08:00 a.m. – 05:00 p.m.
