About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool – Georgia

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Georgia

Schedule: 13-week assignment with every other weekend (average 6 weekends per contract). Patient ratios: 1:2-3 ICU, 1:4-5 PCU, 1:5-6 MS/MS Tele. No call required. 48-hour guarantee available.

Highlights:

• Float Pool position with primary assignment to ICU Float; may float to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU units
• Diverse patient population including adults to geriatrics with complex critical care diagnoses
• Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience
• Orientation provided with 24 hours of training; assignment length is 13 weeks
• Maximum 7 days of time off available per contract (blackout dates apply during Spring Break: April 4-12)

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; experience with 2:1 to 3:1 patient ratios preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP, dysrhythmia interpretation, ABG interpretation, and IV insulin protocols
• Full compliance documentation due Tuesday prior to start date; core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
