Qualifications & Experience

• Active Physical Therapist licensure in California
• Previous experience delivering physical therapy within school settings is highly valued
• Comprehensive understanding of IEPs and the ability to participate in the IEP process
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt interventions and support based on student needs

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of students to evaluate motor skills and functional abilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals and IEP requirements
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and related service providers to optimize student outcomes
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment or modifications to classroom environments
• Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all students
