Forklift Operator

Forklift OperatorMickey Truck Bodies is seeking a motivated Forklift Operator who will be responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment to move materials and maintain accurate inventory throughout the production facility. This role ensures timely delivery of materials to production areas, supports inventory accuracy, and maintains a clean and safe work environment while meeting productivity and quality standards.If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment — this could be the opportunity for you!What you'll do:Safely operate a forklift and body mover equipment to transport materials throughout the facility.Load and unload trailers while ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently.Move large materials inside and outside of buildings, including across gravel terrain.Pull, pick, and prepare inventory for production based on work orders.Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF handheld scanners.Ensure proper stock rotation and complete inventory transfers in the system.Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.Read and interpret work orders, safety rules, operational manuals, and written instructions.Maintain a clean and organized workspace daily.Operate additional equipment as needed to perform job duties.Maintain productivity and quality standards while adhering to all safety guidelines.Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.What we're looking for:Ability to safely operate a forklift, including extended forks.Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and operational documents.Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.Ability to perform basic math calculations, including fractions.Experience using RF handheld scanners.Ability to maintain accurate inventory records.Ability to work independently and complete assignments within prescribed routines and standard practices.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.Ability to maintain a safe work environment and meet productivity goals.Physical Requirements:Must be able to communicate clearlyRequires ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbsRequires ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, crawl and kneelSpecific vision ability required includes close, distance, color, and peripheral vision with depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Ability to work around machinery of all typesComfortable working in a noisy manufacturing environmentBenefits:Bi-Weekly Productivity and Performance BonusPaid Vacation TimeMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance (employee cost share)Wellness Plan with IncentivesFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Company-Paid Short-Term Disability InsuranceCompany-Paid Long-Term Disability InsuranceCompany-Paid Basic Life Insurance with AD&D401(k) with Company MatchWork Environment:Fast-paced, production-focused manufacturing environment.Exposure to noise, fumes, insulation materials, metal dust, and moving machineryTemperature variations depending on seasonEqual Opportunity Employer:Mickey Truck Bodies and Subsidiaries is an equal opportunity employer.
