Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 09:00 - 21:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN license required Certifications: Requires OR circulator experience and main OR experience Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description:This position involves working in a surgical services unit. The unit consists of 12 operating rooms and has a dedicated staff. Day shift includes 2 RN circulators and 2 Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs). Night shift includes 1 RN. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1 in the operating room. The main equipment used includes an electronic medical record system. Typical procedures performed include general surgery, orthopedic surgery, urology, robotics, and gynecological procedures. Ideal candidates should possess a teamwork mentality. This unit follows established policies and guidelines. The environment provides opportunities to work with new equipment and technology.
