Cardiothoracic Surgeon | Immediate Volume | Mississippi

Join an established cardiothoracic surgery program in Mississippi with more than four decades of clinical excellence and a seamless transition opportunity due to an upcoming physician retirement. This role offers immediate surgical volume, a strong referral network, and the support of an experienced surgical team while maintaining a balanced practice model.

Position Highlights

• Join a well-established cardiothoracic surgery program with deep community trust and referral relationships
• Seamless transition opportunity with immediate access to an established patient base and surgical volume
• Work alongside two experienced surgeons within a collaborative surgical team
• Full-spectrum cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures
• Approximately 50% clinic and 50% operative time
• Week-on/week-off call rotation shared equally with partner
• In-town call coverage with minimal after-hours interruptions
• Strong collaboration with cardiology and other specialty services
• Provide inpatient care, emergency coverage, and consultation services across the medical center

Candidate Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• 5+ years of experience strongly preferred; 1-2 years post-training considered for exceptional candidates
• Mississippi medical license or ability to obtain
• Commitment to high-quality surgical care and patient outcomes
• J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available
