Quality Control Inspector

The Quality Completions Inspector is the person who conducts the systems completion walk downs and supports Completions on punch list items, walk downs, and engineering changes. This is a skilled position with detailed knowledge of their specific craft and job specifications. This person will be working with QC, document controls, and the craft to make sure items in the field are installed per drawing and specification. Responsibilities Discipline Specific Qualifications: Mechanical Piping Mechanical Stationary Equipment Rotating Equipment Welding I&E Instrumentation Electrical Job Functions: Walk down systems and subsystems for completeness and identify any discrepancies Identify any field installed Vs. drawing differences Verify completed punch list items Participate in client and commissioning walk downs Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Demonstrated Industrial Construction experience Organization and time management Good decision-making abilities Able to troubleshoot and come up with solutions Ability to work with others – team player Good communication skills with co-workers and subordinates Construction and commissioning knowledge Qualifications Qualifications: 3+ years’ experience as a journeyman 3 years industrial construction experience 2-3 years in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Computer Competency (Microsoft Office), Completions Database experience General discipline competencies with Civil, Underground Work, Structural, and Buildings Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a construction or technology related field Prior turnover experience Prior commissioning experience Job Info Job Identification 14823 Job Category Quality Control Locations 2301 N Brazosport Blvd, Freeport, TX, 77541, US #J-18808-Ljbffr
