Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: 2+ years of OB/GYN experience License: Active Michigan/MI License Certifications: - AWHONN - NRP - BLS (American Heart Association) - ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: - High proficiency in LDRP, including Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, Postpartum Couplet Care - STABLE certification (preferred) - COVID vaccine required, exemptions allowed Description: The Family Birth Place serves over 500 families each year. It offers new mothers the comforts of home for their Labor, Delivery and Recovery experience. Caring and compassion are the hallmarks of the obstetric team. We encourage mothers along each step of their maternity and delivery care. Dads or support persons are invited to share in the experiences. Requests for time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified upon submission. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Candidates who live within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered. Dress code includes facility-provided scrubs. Every third weekend and holidays are required if needed.
