About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Towne U.S. LLC to find a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, 27804!

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week travel assignment . The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, functional independence, and overall quality of life.

This opportunity is ideal for a Physical Therapist looking to expand their clinical experience while enjoying the flexibility and benefits of travel therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals.

• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, strengthening, mobility training, and other appropriate interventions.

• Assist patients in improving mobility, transfers, ambulation, and overall functional independence.

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, safety, and home programs.

• Recommend and train patients in the appropriate use of assistive devices.

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate.

• Adapt effectively to new facilities, clinical teams, and patient populations throughout the assignment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.

• Active Physical Therapist license in the assignment state or ability to obtain one.

• Previous Physical Therapist experience preferred.

• Current BLS certification may be required depending on the facility.

• Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a travel healthcare environment.
