Mechanic - Welder/Pipefitter

Industrial Boiler MechanicC&C Boiler Sales & Service, Inc. is currently seeking a skilled and safety-minded Industrial Boiler Mechanic with experience in boiler system installation, welding, refractory repair, and industrial mechanical work. The ideal candidate will work both in our shop and on customer job sites, performing installation, fabrication, pipefitting, boiler re-tubing, refractory replacement, and welding. This is a hands-on, field-based position that requires strong technical ability, mechanical problem-solving, and a commitment to quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:Install, align, and secure packaged boilers, deaerators, economizers, and other pressure-retaining equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and ASME/NBIC codes.Perform field and shop welding (SMAW, MIG, TIG) on piping systems and pressure vessels. Fabricate skids, brackets, supports, and pipe systems.Remove and replace boiler tubes, roll and weld new tubes, and conduct hydrostatic testing.Inspect, remove, and install refractory materials in boilers and related equipment; patch, cast, and cure refractory linings to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and safety.Assemble and install pipe systems, supports, valves, and fittings using blueprints and isometric/technical drawings.Assist with or perform ASME/NB repair and alteration projects in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.Participate in OSHA-mandated safety training and adhere to internal and client-specific safety protocols.Maintain a positive and professional attitude while contributing to team goals and cross-functional field operations.What We Provide:At C&C Boiler, we believe skilled tradespeople deserve more than just a job—we provide a pathway to growth, respect for your expertise, and a workplace where safety and integrity come first.
