Acute Medicine RN (Full-Time, Days)

Role Overview Provides direct patient care in a 25-bed Acute Care Medicine unit, managing patients with diverse clinical conditions. Supports a multidisciplinary team including physicians, social workers, and therapists to deliver high-quality care. Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to standards. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Develop, document, and communicate individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team. Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations. Maintain safety-sensitive standards, working in a constant state of alertness. Qualifications & Skills RN license required. Nursing diploma or associate's degree; bachelor's degree preferred. No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
