Licensed School Nurse Opportunity

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license with the required credentials to practice as a school nurse.
• Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare.
• Strong understanding of school health protocols, emergency care, and communicable disease management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential records and interact professionally with students, staff, and families.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the health needs of students, including assessment, intervention, and care planning.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician order and school policies.
• Respond promptly to illnesses or injuries, providing first aid or referrals as needed.
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics and promote wellness initiatives.
• Maintain accurate, detailed health records and prepare necessary reports.
• Collaborate with educational staff and external healthcare providers to support students with chronic conditions or special needs.
