LayerZero Power Systems is on a trajectory of sustained growth, with a loyal customer base of existing Fortune 100 customers and an expanding portfolio of new customers.Position Description:The Sub-Assembly is responsible for assembling hardware components onto fabricated parts and panels to create subassemblies used in LayerZero Power Systems products. This role requires precision, mechanical aptitude, and strong attention to detail to ensure assemblies meet engineering specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and thrives in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.Primary Duties:Install hardware (fasteners, studs, hinges, brackets, clips, etc.) onto fabricated metal and non-metal componentsPerform sub-assembly operations by interpreting assembly drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials (BOMs)Prepare components for assembly by cleaning, deburring, aligning, and positioning parts accuratelyUse hand tools, power tools, and torque tools safely and effectivelyVerify assembled components for dimensional accuracy, fit, and functionIdentify and report defects, missing components, or quality issuesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policiesSupport continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process or efficiency improvementsCollaborate closely with other assemblers, quality, and engineering teamsExperience & Skills:Assembly in a manufacturing environment or transferable mechanical experienceMust have the ability to read assembly drawings and follow directionEducation:High school diploma or GED required, technical or trade school preferred.Why Join Us?
