Ophthalmic Technician
Family Eye Physicians
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ophthalmic Technician to join our eye care team in Oak Lawn, IL. The ideal candidate will assist ophthalmologists by performing diagnostic tests, preparing patients for examinations, and providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct preliminary eye tests Prepare patients for eye examinations by explaining procedures and answering basic questions. Assist ophthalmologists during patient exams and minor procedures. Operate and maintain ophthalmic equipment and instruments. Record patient medical histories and document examination results accurately. Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
