Job Summary:
A registered nurse is needed on the medical surgical floor in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This position offers a 36-hour rotating shift schedule (3x12-hour shifts) during nights, with weekends and holidays assigned per unit rotation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota

• Required Certifications and Education:
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or under a Compact State Agreement, to be obtained prior to the start date
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), to be obtained prior to the start date
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) certification from the AHA, to be obtained prior to the start date
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years inpatient acute care experience in a larger hospital setting, with recent travel experience required. Preference given to candidates with three completed assignments.
• Additional Skills & Requirements:
  • Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system experience is required.
  • No float rotation required.
  • The role requires the candidate to submit a resume, skills checklist, and proof of licensure (Full NURSYS report if RN).
• Schedule: 36-hour rotating shifts (3x12s), night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 08/17/2026.
• Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily patient rounds, ensuring quality care and patient satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and perform emergency interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide patient education and discharge planning.
  • Complete required documentation, incident reports, and maintain communication with the healthcare team.
  • Delegate tasks within scope of practice to other qualified staff and perform other duties as assigned.
