This permanent position is ideal for a project leader who can drive capital projects from initial concept through to successful commissioning, supporting our client's strategic growth and operational excellence.About the RoleYou will manage capital projects end-to-end, overseeing concept development, design, procurement, construction, startup, and commissioning. The role is central to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with our client's operational priorities in pulp and paper manufacturing.Key Skills and ExperienceEngineering: Ability to translate technical requirements into practical project solutions, coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders.Power: Exposure to power-related systems within industrial environments, ensuring reliable and efficient plant operations.Pulp and Paper: Understanding of paper manufacturing processes, helping align project execution with production and maintenance needs.Process and Piping System Design (a plus): Experience designing process and piping systems to optimise flow, safety, and maintainability in complex facilities.Project Management: Proven capability to develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and detailed execution plans, and to manage resources through each project phase.BS in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering discipline Compensation & Support$140k-$180k base salaryAnnual bonusRelocation assistanceIf you're ready to lead impactful capital projects in a major paper manufacturing environment in New York, please get in touch to discuss this opportunity and next steps.
