Fire Sprinkler Foreman – Lead Fire Protection System Installations

Job Overview

  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday (Day Shift) with overtime, weekends, and on-call work as needed
  • Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Valid driver’s license

You will serve as a vital field leader, guiding crews to install, service, and maintain life-safety fire protection systems. How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead and coordinate dedicated field crews to ensure fire protection projects stay ahead of schedule.
  • Interpret complex blueprints and construction documents to guide precise field installations.
  • Assemble and secure piping systems, fittings, valves, and equipment according to NFPA standards.
  • Manage safe work practices and enforce the proper use of required personal protective equipment.
  • Inspect, test, and troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems to ensure total operational compliance.
  • Operate specialized equipment including pipe threaders, groovers, and aerial lifts safely.
  • Maintain strong customer service and clear communication with project stakeholders at all times.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of professional experience in pipe fitting or fire sprinkler installation.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience working specifically at the fire sprinkler technician level.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, motivate, and manage a construction crew.
  • Working knowledge of standard NFPA codes and fire protection installation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and translating blueprints into field execution.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean, acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work on ladders up to 20 feet and scaffolding or lifts up to 80 feet.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced, comprehensive working knowledge of specialized commercial NFPA fire codes.
  • Prior experience training and mentoring apprentice-level pipe fitters in the field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills related to complex wet, dry, or pre-action system layouts.
