Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal patients in the NICU.
• Perform and manage intubation, extubation, and airway management procedures.
• Administer medications and respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy and nebulizers.
• Monitor and manage ventilator settings, ensuring optimal patient compliance.
• Collaborate with NICU staff and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adapt to facility charting systems.

Qualifications

• Current RRT licensure and state certification; ACLS and BLS are mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year NICU respiratory therapy experience required.
• Proficiency with Epic or similar healthcare charting system.
• Advanced knowledge of neonatal respiratory procedures and equipment.
• Ability to work night shifts with rotating weekend schedules.
• NRP certification preferred; strong critical care and emergency department skills.
