Senior User Experience Researcher

Salary: $120,000 - 160,000 per year

Requirements:

At least five years of related work experience An undergraduate degree, or an equivalent combination of training and experience in a creative or technical field Familiarity with user testing or Qualtrics/Medallia is preferred Responsibilities:

Provide usability services to business and IT teams working on mid-scale web and mobile application projects across multiple platforms, recommending suitable quantitative or qualitative research approaches Plan and conduct user research, usability studies, and heuristic evaluations, and review human factors research relevant to our business, technology, and processes Interview users and conduct contextual inquiries to understand their needs and gather feedback, maintaining privacy and conducting sessions professionally Analyze and present findings to design teams and mid-level decision makers, and recommend strategies for building business support Offer actionable guidance informed by target users and usability best practices, and explain the value of usability to project teams and crew members Identify usability opportunities, share findings and recommendations with project teams and leaders, and support adoption of key recommendations with guidance from senior user experience crew Help develop our usability principles and practices, and train and mentor junior staff in user experience research best practices Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned Technologies:
