Bilingual skills welcome.Position Overview: IDOC is looking to hire an Office Assistant to keyboard via a personal computer and/or keyboard and prepare evaluations and supervisory files for the Shift Commanders. In addition, this position monitors and maintains the receipt of individual in custody movement charts, night tower reports, roll call memos, pest control reports, and uniform inspections, and serves as receptionist in the Shift Commander's Office and backup input operator for the Automated Roster Management System (ARMS).Essential Functions:Keyboards via a personal computer and/or keyboard.Prepares and keyboards evaluations and supervisory files for the Shift Commanders.Monitors and maintains the receipt of individual in custody movement charts, night tower reports, roll call memos, pest control reports and uniform inspections, documenting same in the appropriate logs.Serves as a receptionist in the Shift Commander's Office.Serves as backup input operator for the Automated Roster Management System (ARMS).Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.Minimum Qualifications: Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of high school and one (1) year of related office experience.
