Job Description About the Job Neonatologist Physician - MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, located in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking a Neonatologist to serve our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the normal newborn nursery. This full-time position may require flexible scheduling including clinical service time, weekends, holidays, and on call from home. Administrative time may be given for QI projects, unit meetings, resident, PA, and NNP student education, and others. Qualifications: • MD Licensure • Initial board certification in Pediatrics • Successful completion of a Perinatal/Neonatal Medicine Fellowship Program • Board certification or eligibility in Perinatal/Neonatal Medicine • BLS and NRP certification The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is a 23-bed, single room level III NICU that admits ~280 newborns a year and takes pride of having neonatal outcomes within the best quartile among Vermont Oxford Network reporting units in the U.S. Since 2007 our hospital has partnered with the March of Dimes for the only fully staffed Family Support Program in Maryland, advocating for the best experience possible for our NICU families.
