Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist

Join our team at Jackson HealthPros as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you'll function as a member of a cardiac team, expertly assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You'll ensure the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• NCCT or NBSTSA certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience within the last 3 years
• Minimum 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last 3 years
• Minimum 1 year of recent travel experience
• Experience with Cardiac Robotics, LVAD, and Heart Transplant
• Experience covering General, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Heart Transplant cases
• Attestation of PA Child Abuse History Clearance required
• Attestation of PA State Police Check (PATCH) required
• Other Regulatory Requirements required

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts
• Rotating shifts include days, evenings, and nights
• Weekend coverage required and may include Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
• Call required on weekdays and/or weekends
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• In-house call rooms available if needed
